General Info

Tucked right into the heart of St. George, Bee Sweet is the kind of ice cream shop that instantly feels welcoming the moment you walk in. The location is easy to find, and with a free parking lot nearby, getting there is hassle-free. Whether you're stopping by for a quick treat or planning to linger, the overall vibe is relaxed and friendly.

What stood out to me right away was how well this spot caters to different types of visitors. It’s perfect for solo dining if you just want to unwind with a scoop (or two), but it’s also accommodating for groups. The wheelchair accessible entrance makes it inclusive, and the option for table service adds a comfortable, sit-down experience that you don’t always expect from an ice cream shop. Even better, dogs are allowed outside, which makes it a great stop if you're out exploring with your pet.

The menu keeps things simple but satisfying, focusing on classic ice cream shop favorites that deliver on flavor and texture. Each scoop feels thoughtfully prepared, and the variety ensures there’s something for every taste preference. While it’s not an overwhelming menu, that actually works in its favor-it keeps the experience focused and enjoyable rather than complicated.

From a reviewer’s perspective, what makes this place memorable isn’t just the food, but the overall experience. The service feels attentive without being intrusive, and there’s a genuine sense of care in how customers are treated. It’s the kind of spot where you can slow down, enjoy your dessert, and just take in the moment.

Looking at reviews and general impressions, Bee Sweet clearly holds its own among local dessert spots. Its central location, easy accessibility, and thoughtful service options make it a reliable choice whether you're a local or just passing through. It’s not trying to be overly fancy or trendy-instead, it leans into being consistently good, approachable, and comfortable.

If you’re exploring ice cream shop locations in St. George and want something that feels both easygoing and well put together, this is a place that delivers exactly that kind of experience.

“ This is the funnest shop. It’s downtown in Ancestor Square, so it’s perfect for a tourist stop. This was hand scooped ice cream. The worker was super nice and helpful. I think he said that he worked there for 4 years. He explained the ice cream mixes. They even have nacho ice cream and other options, not just scooped ice cream. The scoops are very large. They offer free samples. They had quite a few new flavors, and lots of traditional favorites. I’m not sure if this was by accident, but there was a bee flying in the window the entire time we were there. It is a small shop with only 2 tables inside, but there is plenty of outside seating in the park area. I hadn’t heard of this shop until I opened up my Dixie Direct book. It’s a local discount card. I suggest having dinner at the Pizza Factory next door, and then enjoy some dessert after dinner. Beware, the parking is extremely limited in this part of town, so be prepared to walk. ”

“ We went from San Francisco and explored this hidden gem in St George. It’s a cute little ice cream shop run by an amazing family. As much as I loved the ice cream there, I loved the couple Running it. Such an amazing owners who makes everyone feel welcomed. The place itself was so dreamy. I had the brownie s’more flavor which was out of this world. I am a big ice cream fan and I would highly recommend this place and you won’t be disappointed. Must must visit the place if you are in St George. ”

“ A small ice cream parlor smack in the middle of ancestor square. Love this ice cream parlor. The guy who works there, (last picture) was the only one working. He was very kind and has 100% customer service. Best ice cream parlor in town. Love it. ”

“ We absolutely love this beautiful ice cream shop! We went kn for a free cone for my daughters birthday, and felt so welcomed! The atmosphere was fun, the staff were very nice, and of course the ice cream was delicious! It's what Ancestor square has needed for a long time! Keep up the great work! ”

“ This ice cream and coffee shop is located in Ancestors Square in St. George. We went to the area for super and ended up here for dessert, thanks to some samples being handed out. It's in a quaint little building that historically used to be a temporary sheriff's office. The ice cream was great and the service was excellent. We will definitely be stopping by here again when over that way. There is some seating inside and places to to sit outside. It's in a nice area with a good ambiance about it. ”

“ Been here in the past but it feels like it’s been updated or something recently, It has very limited seating inside but seating outside is plentiful. The people behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating. Is a small location and can get pretty packed really quick but the ice cream is good and service is outstanding!! ”

“ As an ice cream lover with very high standards, I give this place 5 stars! I think the thing that really made it so good was the waffle cones they make there. I usually never do add ons with ice cream but this place makes the best waffle bowls so I always add it when i go and it is totally worth it! ”

“ New Year’s Day and ice cream and coffee went well together at this little store., Our group of nine had fun playing games while waiting for the order to be prepared. Good selection of games available in the store. It is close by Regina house and Ben Thai. Restrooms are across from the ice cream store. Enter Cisco, the door, Ben Thai and take a right. We might consider coming back here. The customer experience was pleasant. Thank you! ”
